An interactive internship workshop on “SIMIO & Simulation Industrial Systems Modeling” was successfully conducted, featuring an insightful talk by Dr. Imran Ahmad, Associate Professor of Industrial Engineering and Specialist in Virtual Reality & Ergonomics. Organized under the CATCH_VR initiative with technical support from NCRAAI, the Condition Monitoring System Lab (NCRA, MUET), and the IEEE Education Society, the session focused on data-driven simulation of manufacturing systems.
Participants gained practical insights into discrete-event simulation, statistical modeling, probability distributions, bottleneck analysis, and modern industrial system optimization through real-world case studies and examples.
